Sweet Bonanza 1000 is Pragmatic Play’s most-played slot with an upgrade.
It’s the candy-coated sequel that took everything the original did right and cranked the ceiling from 21,100x to 25,000x your bet. Multiplier bombs that previously maxed out at 100x now reach 1,000x.
What is Sweet Bonanza 1000?
Sweet Bonanza 1000 slot is a 6x5 grid slot from Pragmatic Play, released in June 2024. You win when 8 or more identical symbols land anywhere on the grid. The symbols don't need to connect or line up; they just need to exist on the reels at the same time.
It's part of Pragmatic Play's 1000-series, which includes Gates of Olympus 1000 and Sugar Rush 1000. The formula is consistent: take an already-popular game, boost the multipliers, and raise the max win ceiling.
How the Game Works
Scatter Pays
Land 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid and you've got a win. The more symbols you match, the bigger the payout. At 12+ symbols of the same type, the top candy symbols pay between 12x and 50x your bet in a single combination.
There are no wild symbols. What there is instead: a multiplier bomb.
The Multiplier Bomb
The multiplier bomb is the symbol that makes this game worth playing. It lands randomly on the reels and awards a value ranging from 2x to 1,000x. It doesn't form combinations on its own. Instead, when a winning combination resolves, all multiplier bombs present on the grid have their values added together, and that total multiplies the win.
Two bombs showing 50x and 30x? That's an 80x multiplier applied to your win. It's additive first, then multiplicative, the same mechanic logic as DuelReels in Wanted Dead or a Wild, but applied to a completely different game structure.
In the base game, bombs appear but their values are lower. The free spins round is where values push toward the four-figure ceiling.
Tumble
Every time a combination forms and pays, the winning symbols vanish. Everything above drops down, and new symbols fill from the top. If those new symbols form another combination, the process repeats. A single spin can tumble through multiple consecutive wins without you pressing anything.
The Tumble keeps running until the reels settle without a new combination. On a good spin, that can stack several payouts one after another.
Free Spins Bonus Round
The free spins round triggers when you land 4 or more scatter lollipop symbols in a single spin. That gives you 10 free spins, plus a direct payout just for triggering it: 3x your bet for 4 scatters, 5x for 5, and 100x for all 6.
During free spins, multiplier bombs appear more often and with higher values. All bombs collected during the round are combined and applied to winning spins. The round can retrigger: land 3 or more scatters mid-bonus, and you get 5 additional free spins added to your total.
This is where 25,000x becomes a realistic target rather than a number on a paytable.
Super Free Spins: The Big Swing
Standard free spins give you bombs from 2x upward. Super Free Spins set the floor at 20x. Every bomb that lands in Super Free Spins mode carries a minimum of 20x, which compresses the variance dramatically.
You can only access Super Free Spins via Bonus Buy.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 Stats and Specs
The Sweet Bonanza 1000 RTP of 96.53% is above average for a high-volatility slot. To put it in context: that's higher than the original Sweet Bonanza and higher than many comparable high-volatility titles in the same category.
The max win of 25,000x sits near the top of Pragmatic Play's entire catalog. On a $1 bet, that's $25,000. On a $5 bet, it's $125,000.
Bonus Buy and Ante Bet
Ante Bet (+25%)
The Ante Bet increases your stake by 25% per spin in exchange for a higher frequency of scatter triggers. You're not changing anything about the payouts, just increasing how often the free spins round appears naturally. A reasonable option if you want more bonus action without skipping the base game entirely.
Bonus Buy – Standard Free Spins (100x)
Pay 100x your current bet to skip the base game and enter the free spins round directly, with standard bomb values (2x–1,000x). This is the faster route into the game's best feature, priced at the more accessible end.
Bonus Buy – Super Free Spins (500x)
Pay 500x your bet for guaranteed entry into Super Free Spins, where every bomb lands at 20x minimum. This is the highest-risk, highest-reward option in the game. It's a serious bet. It's also where the biggest single-session wins tend to come from.
Both Bonus Buy options are available at Cooked, and the price is shown clearly before you confirm.

Symbols and What They Pay
Sweet Bonanza 1000 vs. the Original: What Actually Changed
The question every player who knows the original asks: Is this worth switching to?
The honest answer is yes, but with caveats.
What's better:
What's the same:
Higher max win potential comes with slightly higher variance in practice. The bombs can hit 1,000x, but you're also more reliant on them connecting during free spins to see big returns.
Players who found the original's 100x bomb cap frustrating will prefer this version. Players who liked grinding the original's more moderate volatility may feel the new version is less predictable.
